The Garden Restaurant at Rothay Garden is one of only a few Lake District restaurants with 2 AA rosettes.
Far removed from a traditional hotel restaurant, the two-rosette Garden Restaurant at Rothay Garden is an attraction in its own right, with its contemporary furniture, clean elegant lines and great views overlooking the hotel’s two acres of gardens.
The Hotel Kitchens
The hotel’s kitchens are managed by our Head Chef Adrian Kneeshaw who trained under our former Head Chef Andrew Burton. Andrew has been at the hotel for over 25 years, is one of only 400 Masterchefs of Great Britain and continues to wield a pan at Rothay.
